Cloth Training Pants
Potty training can be a stressful time for both parents and baby, but a supply of the right accessories can make the process considerably easier. Of course you'll need a potty, or a special toilet seat. You'll also need suitable training pants. In fact, it's best to undertake potty training in warm weather if at all possible, as you'll be successful much sooner if you can leave your child in just her trainer pants, requiring less time to get her on the potty. Wearing too many layers of clothes can make it difficult for a baby to hold herself until the appropriate time. Using cloth training pants for your toddler is a wonderful idea. It will quickly get her accustomed to the comfortable feel of dry fabric next to her skin. While you'll have to keep an eye on the situation to ensure there are no leaks, you'll find that cloth trainers are much healthier than paper disposables and so easy to care for. All you do is take them off and throw them in the washing machine (of course rinsing any solid matter into the toilet). Cotton is a breathable fabric that is healthy, as well as comfortable. If you buy several pairs, you'll be sure of having a good supply while your baby is learning. Blue Penguin has particularly comfortable and effective cotton training pants. They are 100 percent water resistant cotton, with an extra absorbent panel to prevent leaks. A full range of sizes are available, as well: 2T (20-28 lbs), 3T (28-36 lbs) and 4T (36-42 lbs). Blue Penguin even offers a five percent discount for any order of five pairs or more. |
